Superheroes come in all forms…

SuperReginald the Raccoon is quite large at 30 plus inches!  He wears a cape to fight stuffed animal crimes in Los Angeles.  SuperReginald wishes that he could fly, but really the cape is just for show…His cape is made of a lovely satin, with thin, green fur underneath for the colder weather.  He wears saddle shoes so that no one will mistake him for an evil character.  Because when was the last time that you saw a villain wearing saddle shoes?  Here he is fighting crime, or at least being on the lookout from a tree!In other news, I am off to Etsy craft night tonight.  We are carving stamps and making homemade paper.

This morning, Barry and I went on a walk around Silverlake.  We followed the directions for an hour hike and it was super.  It’s very pretty and many of the houses look like they are still in the 20’s.  One set of stairs is called the Music Box Steps because Laurel and Hardy used them in a movie.  They tried to lug a piano up them!  Here is Barry next to the sign…And here is the view looking up the stairs…These steps were the prettiest…All of the steps were built in the 1920’s, so that people could easily get to and from the tram lines.  They are a secret landmark in Silverlake.  Awesome!
